About Us

The Center For Advanced Medicine and Surgery began in 1979 as Diversey Medical Center at 800 W. Diversey Parkway, where Dr. Senno opened a solo practice, specializing in thoracic cardiovascular and general surgery. It was at this location Dr. Senno practiced, and still does today, a no appointment needed philosophy and never turned a single patient away.

The solo practice quickly grew into a multi-specialty group paving the road for two more location openings: 3036 W. Irving Park Road and 2320 W. Peterson Avenue. In 1997 the Peterson Avenue location officially became The Center For Advanced Medicine And Surgery.

Currently, The Center For Advanced Medicine And Surgery employs over 70 health care professionals and has 6 offices. The center's future entails strengthening its infrastructure and expanding its reach of quality patient care to all of Northeast Illinois. We are anticipating opening new offices in Aurora, Elgin and Waukegan. Contact us for more information!
